Notes: SERAT PRESENTATION TO XCOM AND MEMBERSHIP May 9, 2013\n\n \n\nAt 9:00 AM on May 9th at the XCom Meeting, and at 1:00 PM that afternoon at the Marina Jack Business Luncheon, USPS Stf/C James Strothers, SN, from the Sanibel Captiva Power Squadron, will make a presentation on the National program, SERAT, which stands for SQUADRON EMERGENCY RESPONSE ASSISTANCE TEAM.\n\n \n\nThis is an opportunity for SPSS to form a SERAT Team to assist the City of Sarasota Fire and Police Department with on the water special and emergency assistance. This is also an opportunity for members of SPSS with and without boats to give back to the community and be actively involved with the Civic needs of our City.\n\n \n\nStf/C Jim Strothers founded the SERAT program for both his Squadron in Sanibel/Captiva and for USPS Nationally.
